Radio Handi is a great way to get friends together to play a game by phone. Whether you are playing WOW or an old-fashioned game like Bridge, you can use Radio Handi as a virtual meeting place. Simply create a Community for your gaming club, and then tell people when and where to call (we have local access numbers in 30+ countries).
You can use Radio Handi for any multi-player game, whether it is a tricked out 3D computer game, or a old fashioned board game. Our service creates a forum where everyone can meet, as well as many ways to communicate game play to other members.
Real-Time Game Play (Voice Conferencing)
If you want to talk with other group members during live gameplay, Radio Handi's conferencing service is a great way to do this. Simply call one of our local access numbers, or call in via Gizmo, and then dial your gaming group's channel number. You'll be dropped into a live call with up to 20 other people. Whether your fellow gamers are across town or around the world, you can get everyone in one place on Radio Handi.
Live voice is a great fit for real-time gaming, such as a Quake deathmatch. It's not just for computer games however. Our group conferencing service also works great for social board and card games.
Text Messaging and Email
If you're playing an ongoing game where response time is less important, you can use Radio Handi's voice, text and email messaging to send messages to other group members. For example, you can phone in to record your latest move on a board game. Other group members will receive the message via email or via the web message board. You can do the same thing by sending an email to email@example.com or by sending an SMS to our text relay service.
To get started, just go to www.radiohandi.com, sign in, and create a Community for your gaming club or guild. Then invite people to join (or if you want, you can make your group open to public registration). Use group email and the community whiteboard to publish your upcoming schedule, and instructions for participating in your gaming sessions.
Radio Handi is being offered as a free service during our test period, after which we will charge a nominal monthly fee for some features, such as toll-free international access. So make yourself at home, and please spread the word to your friends.
